Indrayan (Citrullus colocynthis) is a creeper (climbing plant) native to arid and sandy soils (desert and semi-desert soil). It resembles a watermelon. It goes by several different names depending on where you are. People call it colocynth, bitter apple, bitter cucumber, desert gourd, egusi, the vine of Sodom, and wild gourd, to name a few.
