From a medicinal point of view, Mulethi is beneficial in many diseases. It reduces Vata and Pitta dosha. Talking about the external parts of the body, it is beneficial for skin diseases and hair. The use of Mulethi purifies the blood, grows hair and sharpens the intellect.

1. Helps in Headache

If you are often troubled by headache, then mulethi is a very useful thing for you. In one part of mulethi powder or mulethi powder, mix one-fourth part of it with Kalihari powder and a little mustard oil. Smelling it gives relief from headache.

2. Beneficial in cough and cold

Keeping mulethi in the mouth and sucking it for a long time provides relief from cough. If you have dry cough, then mix one spoon of mulethi with honey and eat it after licking it 2-3 times a day. Similarly, making a decoction of liquorice and consuming 20-25 ml quantity in the morning and evening gives full benefit of mulethi.

3.Helps in hair growth

Mulethi is also used in giving proper nutrition to the hair and increasing it. Washing the hair with liquorice quart makes the hair grow faster. Similarly, after grinding liquorice and sesame in buffalo milk, applying a paste on the head stops hair fall.

4. Heals mouth ulcers

If you are troubled by mouth ulcers, then why do not you take advantage of the medicinal properties of liquorice. If there are blisters in the mouth, then take some pieces of liquorice and suck it after mixing honey in it. Due to this the blisters heal quickly. 

5. Reduces irritation in eyes

Mulethi is considered to be a very beneficial remedy to reduce irritation and redness of the eyes. The use of mulethi powder with fennel can provide relief in burning and redness of the eyes.
