Hajrul Yahood Bhasma has a lithontriptic and diuretic effect in the body, which aids in the dissolution and movement of kidney stones down the path of the ureter.
The most crucial aspect is that it also has anodyne activity, which significantly lowers renal colic within the first two to three dosages.
Hazrul Yahud Bhasma alleviates the following symptoms:

Colic in the kidneys (pain caused by kidney stones)

Urine has a burning sensation.

Dysuria (difficult or painful urination)

Crystalluria

Crystalluria is a condition characterised by the presence of crystals in the urine.
It can be caused by urinary calculi or by the negative effects of certain medications.
Penicillin and sulfonamides are the medications that cause Crystalluria.

In such cases, Hajrul Yahood Bhasma and Chandraprabha Vati are beneficial.
A month's course of these medicines cures Crystalluria.
If Crystalluria recurs, the course with these therapies should be completed for at least three months.
Furthermore, using Chandanasava in the treatment acts as an adjuvant.

The dosage of Hajrul Yahood Bhasma varies depending on the patient's health and age.
The typical dose ranges from 250 mg to 500 mg twice daily.
The maximum daily dose of Hajrul Yahood Bhasma should not exceed 2 grams.
