What is Resha Khatmi Jadd (Marshmallow Roots):
The Resha Khatmi, also known as, Marshmallow Root is a perennial plant native to Europe, Asia and North America. It grows to about 20 inches (50 cm) tall and has small white flowers followed by purple berries that are edible when ripe. The marshmallow root is also known as Althaea officinalis. The roots are harvested in the autumn and dried for use as medicine or food.
Uses:
