The watches are conservative and focused, with the French Navy's handsome anchor logo appearing at six o’clock. The logo is subtly integrated into the watch’s navy blue and white motif. The choice of this particular logo isn’t entirely aesthetic as the classic anchor logo is available for license, whereas other official service logos aren't allowed for commercial use.
To be clear, I enjoy the Universalzeit as much as I enjoy saying Universalzeit out loud link by myself in my apartment – which is a whole lot. Although I haven't been fortunate enough to see the watch in person yet, I'm sure the finishing work of the caliber 100.7 is faultless. And the operation seems intuitive enough, which is always beneficial when it comes to travel watches. (Of course, a date might help in that regard, but I digress.)
