Kuda Chhal is dried bark of Holarrhena pubescens, also widely known by the older botanical name Holarrhena antidysenterica. It is supplied as whole or cut bark and should not be confused with Indrajau seed material.

Choose whole Kuda Chhal when you want longer shelf life, visible raw-material quality or decoction-style preparation. Powder is convenient, but whole bark is easier to inspect for colour, dryness, fibre quality and possible adulteration.
