Noni, also known as Indian Mulberry is the Hawaiian name for the Morinda citrifolia botanical plant, an evergreen shrub that probably originated in Southeast Asia and has spread throughout Oceania. As Noni Berry is pungent and bitter, it was only eaten during times of famine. However, Polynesians used the noni berry widely as a dye and to treat wounds, inflammations, infections, and other ailments. Noni is sometimes known as a superfood because of its constituents like phytochemicals, antioxidants, polysaccharides, flavonoids, fatty acids, and catechins. Morinda contains different amino acids, as well as a significant amount of other nutrients.  These nutritive compounds protect cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals, which helps reduce the risk of premature aging and chronic conditions like heart disease. Noni is a rich source of polysaccharides that support the body's natural defense system against illness and infection.

Health benefits:

Immunity-boosting:

Noni is a rich source of polysaccharides that support the body’s natural defense system against illness and infection.

Essential nutrients:

Organic noni powder is an excellent source of essential fatty acids and all 9 essential amino acids that our bodies do not produce naturally and must be obtained through diet.

Antioxidant powerhouse:

Organic noni powder is packed with protective antioxidants, flavonoids, and catechins. Provides relief to joint pains.

Directions for Use:

• Health: Mix 1 tbsp of organic noni powder daily into smoothies, yogurt, juices, or nut milk.

• Skin: Take 1 tbsp of noni fruit powder, add milk or curd to make a paste, and apply it to your skin. Remove it after 10 minutes.

• Hair: Take some noni fruit powder in a bowl and gradually add warm water to make a paste. Apply this mixture to your hair and rinse it off after 30 minutes.

Safety to be measured:

Noni might be safe when used orally or on the skin in appropriate doses. Few side effects have been reported in studies of noni. However, several cases of liver toxicity have been reported in people who had consumed noni. It is unclear whether noni caused the liver problems. A complete picture of Noni’s safety is lacking.

Noni contains a substantial amount of potassium. People who need to restrict their intake of potassium should consult a healthcare provider before using noni.

Noni should not be used during pregnancy. Little is known about whether it’s safe to use noni while breastfeeding.
