What is Roasted Moong Jor?

Roasted Moong Jor is made from whole green moong beans (Vigna radiata) that are soaked, flattened, and then dry-roasted to achieve a crunchy texture. In Ayurveda, Moong is considered the "King of Pulses" because it is the only legume that is Tridoshic—meaning it balances Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Unlike deep-fried snacks, the roasting process preserves the "Laghu" (light) and "Deepana" (digestive-stimulating) qualities of the bean.
