IndianJadiBooti Banslochan Spl (Synthetic), also known as Tabasheer or Tabashir is a Translucent White Substance containing mainly silica and water, with traces of Lime and Potash. Synthetic Banslochan is a man-made substitute intended to resemble traditional Tabasheer or Bamboo Manna. It is not the same as naturally collected asli Banslochan from bamboo, so buyers should choose it only when a synthetic substitute is acceptable for their intended non-classical use.
Khandsari is a raw, physical sugar that has not been treated with bone charcoal or chemicals. It is the traditional sweetener for making authentic Indian mithai.
No. Original Tabasheer is a natural bamboo-derived siliceous deposit, while synthetic Banslochan is manufactured. The two should be labelled separately because classical herbal buyers, Ayurvedic practitioners and formulation makers may specifically require asli Banslochan.
Some buyers choose synthetic Banslochan because natural Tabasheer can be rare, costly or difficult to source consistently. However, it should be used with clear awareness that it is a substitute, not a natural bamboo exudate, and it may not be suitable where authentic classical raw material is required.
Synthetic Banslochan should be clearly labelled as synthetic or substitute material and stored separately from asli Banslochan to prevent confusion. Keep it dry, sealed, away from moisture and away from edible kitchen ingredients if it is not intended for direct consumption.
Synthetic Banslochan should not automatically replace asli Banslochan in Ayurvedic or Unani formulations. If a classical preparation specifically requires natural Tabasheer, substitution should be decided only by a qualified practitioner or formulator.
Buyers should confirm the intended use, label, source and quality before using synthetic Tabasheer. Avoid giving it to children, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers or people with medical conditions without professional advice, especially if the composition and processing standard are unclear.
