What is Bhuna Chana?
Bhuna Chana, also known as Roasted Gram or Roasted Chickpea, is made from whole black chickpeas (Kala Chana) that are dry-roasted until they become crunchy and nutty. In Ayurveda, this process of roasting makes the heavy legume "Laghu" (light) and "Deepana" (digestive-kindling). It is a Tridoshic snack, though it is particularly effective at pacifying Kapha and Pitta due to its astringent and cooling nature.
